SALUTING ALL OUR FRONTLINERS
Operation HOPE a COVID-19 Virtual Responder Awards Ceremony is an event sponsored by the Suffolk County Asian American Advisory Board (AAAB) in collaboration with Wellbrook Foundation, Inc., Suffolk County Office of Minority Affairs and Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone to say "thank you" to all the doctors, nurses, other heathcare and essential workers for their dedication, strength and fearlessness during COVID-19 pandemic.
AAAB will also pay tribute honoring the sacrifice of the brave men and women fighting on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis. A Citation and a COVID-19 Responder Plaque of Recognition will be presented to the outstanding organizations and recognize local volunteers helping with the coronavirus pandemic recovery by saying "thank you".
If you would like to nominate an organization in both private and non-for-profit sectors, state and local agencies that has significantly contributed during COVID-19 pandemic, please click the link below and submit your nomination on or before Friday, September 4, 2020. A COVID-19 Responder Awards selection committee will make a decision by Monday, September 7, 2020. Official announcements to all COVID-19 Responder Awardees will be released on Monday, September 7, 2020.
The Operation HOPE: COVID-19 Virtual Responder Awards Ceremony will be held virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 6:00 pm. .
