
2015 COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR
AT TABERNACULO DE RESTAURACION A LAS NACIONES
October 11, 2015 - Islip New York - A Community Health Fair organized by Tzu Chi International Medical Association (TIMA of Long Island) in collaboration Tabernaculo de Restauracion a Las Naciones located at 423 Moffit Boulevard, Islip, in collaboration with Walgreens Pharmacy, participated by Suffolk County Asian American Advisory Board members who volunteered their personal time, Wellbrook Foundation, Inc., United HealthCare Community Plan, Vajiradhammapadip Temple, The Center for Chinese Learning at Stony Brook, Association of Philippine Physicians of New York, Order of the Knights of Rizal Long Island Chapter, Diabetes Wellness Center at Brookhaven Memoral Center, HRHCare Community Health, Cancer Services Program of Suffolk County a program of Peconic Bay Medical Center and Adelphi Breat Cancer Holtines/Sisters of United Health to provide free medical and dental screening to the community.

This year the community health fair was sponsored by Tabernaculo De Restauracion A las naciones headed by Pastor Martir Benavided and Tzu Chi International Medical Association (TIMA of LI) team of volunteers, doctors, dentist, physical therapist, nurses, spanish translators, breast cancer specialist and Diabetis Health and Wellness coordinators. Special acknowedgement to the financial our contributors and sponsors who provided for the food for all the physicians, dentists, dental hygenist, dental assistants, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, MOD, nurses, dietitians, pharmacist, hair dresser and 29 hispanic translators and the volunteers attended.
